Judge Norberto Oyarbide, acting on the basis of the universal jurisdiction principle, affirms in his judgment that Turkey «has committed the crime of genocide agains the Armenian People during the period between the years 1915 and 1923.» I have not read the judgment yet, but only a few quotations on the newspapers. I will update this information with the judgment as soon as I get it online.
